During the month of May, we celebrated Mary with May Crownings at both churches!
O Mary!
We crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels,
Queen of the May
We are overjoyed to let you know that, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our parishioners, the final touches have been put on the restoration of the bell and tower at St. Paul Church! The replacement of the bell’s electronic ringing mechanism – the final phase of this long project – was just completed, and the bell is ready to ring again! A formal dedication, recognition, and blessing will take place this fall (stay tuned – more info to come!), but we can’t let the bell remain silent until then!
Please join us on Saturday, May 18 for the inaugural bell-ringing at the conclusion of the 4:00pm Vigil Mass, and an informal celebration on the lawn at St. Paul Church!
Each year in the Spring, all staff and volunteers age 18 and older (including Eucharistic ministers and lectors, choir members and musicians, members of councils and commissions, ushers and counters, other Mass volunteers, etc.) must complete an annual Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background screening (except for Religious Education and Youth Ministry volunteers who complete their screening in the early Fall), as mandated by civil and Archdiocese of Boston authorities…

After vendor and supply-chain delays which added months to the project timeline, the structural work on the St. Paul bell tower, including new beams to support the weight of the bell, is now 100% complete.
We have moved into the final phase of the project, which is the replacement of the bell’s electronic ringing mechanisms.
This work is scheduled to be completed within three to four months – we will keep you posted!
We are thrilled to let you know that we finally have a date for the replacement of the old speakers at St. Paul Church! The sound system work will begin on Tuesday, October 17 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, October 20. We will not be able to celebrate Mass (including funeral Masses) in the church while this work is taking place.
The 9:00am Weekday Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 18: 9:00am Mass at St. John
Friday, October 20: 9:00am Mass at St. John
Please join us as we gather together as a community on the expansive lawn in front of St. Paul Church to celebrate our first Collaborative Outdoor Mass since 2019. Parishioners are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. A section of chairs will be set up and available for those who require them due to mobility issues. We ask all others to please bring their own lawn chairs/blankets for seating. After Mass, please join us in the parking lot behind the church for fellowship, food, and fun!
We will have a reduced Mass schedule on…
