New this year – Christmas Wish has gone digital! Caring for our brothers and sisters means caring for the home we share, so we have eliminated the environmental and economic impact of a large paper mailing.
We are happy to extend an invitation to participate in this year’s St. John Christmas Wish Program. The Christmas Wish Program has been one of the highlights of St. John’s holiday outreach since 1993. This Christmas, we hope to grant the special wishes for more than 400 children based upon the caring generosity of our parish community.
Each child is provided with a new outfit of clothing and a special Christmas Wish gift they have requested. These gifts will go to the youngsters in our own parishes, as well as in our sister parishes of St. Katherine Drexel in Roxbury, St. Patrick in Lowell, St. Patrick in Brockton and the Julie Family Learning Program in Boston. The program also provides support to the children’s families through much-needed food cards.
Just 2 weeks left to sign-up or donate – deadline to sign-up is November 12th.

If you prefer to donate by check, please make checks payable to St. John Parish and indicate Christmas Wish in the memo. Checks may be put in the collection basket, mailed to or dropped at the Parish Office at 39 Washington St. Wellesley, MA 02481.
If you find your family needs assistance this holiday season, you are invited to complete a confidential applicant form (copies of the form are also available through the parish office – please call 781-235-0045.)
