The collection at all Easter Masses will benefit Clergy Trust which provides programs and support to care for the health and well-being of all active and senior diocesan priests in good standing. By supporting this collection, you are helping to ensure that our active priests receive the care they need to continue their important work and our senior priests have support and access to quality care. This collection is a critical source of funding for the Trust and your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Please join us this Thursday evening for the final night of our three-part Lenten Lecture Series focusing on Pope Francis’ book, “Let Us Dream: The Path to a Better Future.” Fr. Bryan Hehir will conclude the series by discussing Part Three – A Time to Act.
Those wishing to understand Pope Francis’ emphasis on synodality will find many revelations here – we encourage everyone to read this wonderful book and come to the lectures! (But it is not necessary to have read the book to benefit from the lecture – all are strongly encouraged to attend!)
All are invited for an evening of beautiful Taizé-inspired music and prayer. Taizé is a quieting and mystical experience. The repetitive sung simple prayers draw you deeply into communion with the Holy Spirit and allows the clutter of your thoughts to subside. Holy Scripture and silence is interwoven in the experience in order for worshipers to be attentive to God’s voice. The evening will be punctuated with the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation throughout.
There can be no better way to prepare for Holy Week than to approach it full of God’s abundant grace.
Each year, through our Collaborative Lenten Gift, we reach out as a community to one particular place of suffering, amid so many in the world. This year, we will reach out through our support of the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP), which provides the highest quality health care services possible to some of the most vulnerable members of our community – Boston’s homeless individuals and families of all ages.
We thank you for your participation and we are grateful for any donation you can offer. Checks should be made payable to your parish, with “2022 Lenten Gift” noted in the memo. If you prefer, you may donate online at any time during the Lenten season, or by sending a check to your parish office.
Please join us for an interactive book discussion on Stories from the Shadows: Reflections of a Street Doctor, Dr. James O’Connell’s collection of stories and essays written during thirty years of caring for homeless persons in Boston through the Boston Healthcare for the
