Program information for our 2022-2023 program, including the schedule of classes and full calendar, has been sent to all registered families this past week. Comings and Goings…
We are excited to announce the addition of two new staff members to the Religious Ed and Youth Ministry team: Eve Schwartz and Dominique Bailey. Eve will serve as a part-time Youth Minister. She graduated from Holy Cross this past Spring with an undergraduate degree in English and Religious Studies, and is currently a graduate student at Harvard Divinity School working towards a Master of Divinity. She has experience with Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs at her home parish in Florida and is looking forward to starting with us in the Collaborative at the end of August. She will be helping to coordinate efforts in our Youth Ministry program and at our Sunday 5pm Youth Mass, while also being involved in our Religious Education program. Dominique will serve as a Religious Education Assistant. Dom graduated from Merrimack College with undergraduate degrees in Education and Christian Studies, and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Dom will be coordinating our Middle School program, overseeing the Empowering God’s Children Safety program, and helping to coordinate the Family Mass on Sunday mornings. Please join us in welcoming them both to our Collaborative when you see them in the coming weeks!
As we welcome new staff to the team we sadly say goodbye to Jake Livingstone and Andrea Fay. Jake has moved on to teach full-time at Mount Alvernia High School and we wish him well. Andrea has been a staple of our Religious Ed program for the past 10+ years, first as a teacher then as a staff member. Andrea has coordinated the Cluster Program, facilitated the various Safety programs, run our Middle School program and mentored many teachers. She also coordinated the Family Mass and played a key role in developing the participation process for children and families. Her contributions to the Collaborative and our Religious Education program have been integral to the success of our processes and programs. We appreciate Andrea’s efforts more than words can say and will miss her dearly. Andrea will work with us through much of October before she leaves us to spend time with family in Florida. We wish her well in her new adventures!
