Our Collaborative will be sending a group of teens to World Youth Day Lisbon 2023!
World Youth Day was initiated by Pope John Paul Il in 1986, and the event attracts more than one million youth from almost every country in the world. The week-long event, taking place August 1-6, 2023, culminates in a special Mass with the Holy Father. Many of the young people from our parishes who have attended World Youth Day in the past have described it as a life-changing event in their journey of faith.
Please support our young pilgrims by participating in our World Youth Day Closed End Raffle – all proceeds will be used to help defray travel and other expenses associated with attending this week-long event. Only 500 tickets will be sold so be sure to get yours early! Tickets are $100 each and you could win one of the prizes below:
1st Prize: $5,000
2nd Prize: $2,000
3rd Prize: $1,000
The drawing will be held on October 23 after the Sunday 5pm Youth Mass.
Need not be present to win – all winners will be notified by email.
Our young pilgrims and their chaperones will be on hand at Masses to sell tickets – look for the purple shirts! Tickets can be purchased in-person by cash or check, by scanning the QR with your smartphone.
