He is Risen! A Message from Fr. Jim on Easter Sunday
My dear friends in Christ,
Jesus’ disciples were feeling utterly destitute. How would they go on without him? In Mark’s account, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome had been there as their beloved Jesus was crucified. These same women made their way to the tomb early in the morning on the third day. As the approached the tomb, they saw that the stone had been rolled back. What could this mean? They had come only to be near his body. They had seen him die an anguished death. Could the angel’s words be true? Could they dare to hope?

The Cardinal Sean’s Easter Message
Easter is the center and core of Christian faith. Christian faith is Resurrection faith; the Risen Christ, having conquered sin and death, remains with us across the ages. When we celebrate “the Triduum” — the great feasts of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday — we recall and present again through words and worship the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord.
Easter Collection for the Clergy Trust
The collection at all Easter Masses will benefit Clergy Trust which provides programs and support to care for the health and well-being of all active and senior diocesan priests in good standing. By supporting this collection, you are helping to ensure that our active priests receive the care they need to continue their important work and our senior priests, like Fr. Connelly and Msgr. Lind, have support and access to quality care. This collection is a critical source of funding for the Trust and your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Caring for Our Common Home: Everything is Interconnected
Hosanna! Scripture tells us that people cut palm branches, waved them in the air, and laid them out on the ground before Jesus as He rode into the city of Jerusalem. Palms are mentioned in the Bible more than 30
Reminder: Mass Live Streams Begin This Weekend!
All weekend Masses at the Collaborative will now be available via live stream on our website! For our parishioners who are not yet able to come back in person, participating in a live Mass at one of our churches, together with fellow parishioners present in the pews, will be a far richer experience than a previously recorded Mass.
In addition to the live streams, we will continue to maintain our Previously Recorded Liturgies page. We will add a link to the recording of one of the Saturday Vigil Masses every weekend, so a recorded Mass will still be available to watch “on-demand” on Sundays (and any time thereafter.)
