Attention Current (and Future!) Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors

Attention Current (and Future!) Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors

We are pleased to announce an exciting development in the way we organize the ministries of the Mass – a return to parish volunteers coordinating the schedules (the norm before the many disruptions caused by the pandemic!)  Dorene Christie will be coordinating the schedule of Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors for St. John, and Anne Cremonini and Leah Cinelli will be scheduling for St. Paul. You will be getting an email from them shortly since September – and the new schedule – are just around the corner!

On behalf of you, the parishioners, we thank our new coordinators for their service and look forward to lots of active participation in our vibrant liturgies! Mary Campion (mary.campion@sjspwellesley.org) will continue to be the staff liaison so if you would like to be part of ministry at Mass, please contact Mary, Dorene, Anne or Leah…

Adoration Will Pause for the Summer Months

Adoration Will Pause for the Summer Months

Our current schedule for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (Mondays at 1:00pm at St. Paul Church and Fridays at 1:00pm at St. John Church) will continue through the month of June.  Adoration at both churches will pause for the summer and resume in the fall.

There will be no Adoration at either church during the months of July and August.

Our final Adoration in June will take place Monday, June 27 at 1:00pm at St. Paul Church.

Sunday, February 6: First Sunday of the Month-9am Family Mass and 5pm Youth Mass are at St. John’s!

Sunday, February 6: First Sunday of the Month-9am Family Mass and 5pm Youth Mass are at St. John’s!

Just a reminder that this Sunday, February 6 is the first Sunday of the month, and that means that the 9:00am Family Mass and the 5:00pm Youth Mass will be celebrated at St. John Church.

Yes, we were at St. John last Sunday too, but that’s because January had three Sundays and we’re at St. John on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month.

And yes, it’s a little confusing, but luckily it doesn’t happen too often!
