As you know, Massachusetts is bracing for a snowstorm that could bring more than 20 inches to some communities, with blizzard conditions expected in much of Eastern Massachusetts.  The storm is expected to arrive after midnight Friday evening and continue through Saturday night, with heavy snow and possibly damaging winds, making travel difficult and potentially dangerous.

In making decisions about the Mass schedule this weekend, we must prioritize the safety of our parishioners, staff and clergy.

A decision regarding the scheduled Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Vigil Masses on Saturday will be made by 12:00noon on Saturday.  It will be announced on our website and social media, and an email will be sent to the Collaborative email list. (If you are not on our email list, or are not sure, you can sign up HERE.) A recorded announcement will also be available by calling either parish office Saturday afternoon.

A decision regarding the Sunday Mass schedule, particularly the early morning Masses, will be made Saturday evening, and announced in the same manner.

All are reminded that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass does not apply when there is grave difficulty in fulfilling this obligation. (See Code of Canon Law, Canon 1248 §2)
