Come and Be Comforted – Programs for the Grieving
The St. John-St. Paul Collaborative is dedicated to both the prayerful and practical support of those experiencing loss. We are offering two special programs in the coming weeks for those who are grieving:
A six-week “Seasons of Hope” group for anyone searching for meaning and consolation after the death of a loved one.
A one-day “Emmaus Ministry Retreat” for grieving parents.

9:00am Mass at St. Paul and 1:00pm Adoration at St. John Cancelled on Friday, January 7
With the current forecast calling for heavy snow and hazardous travel throughout the day, and with the safety of our parishioners and staff always at the forefront of our decisions, the 9:00am Mass at St. Paul and the 1:00pm Adoration at St. John on Friday, January 7 are cancelled.
The Collaborative Offices will also be closed, and staff will be working remotely. Messages and emails will be returned as soon as possible.
RCAB Mask Mandate Extended Through March 3
In the light of the continued growth in the numbers of new COVID cases, Cardinal Seán is extending the current mask mandate.
It is mandated that that throughout the archdiocese all people attending public Masses, including weddings and funerals, wear masks. This is an extension of the mandate currently in effect, and expires on Thursday, March 3, 2022, which is the day after Ash Wednesday.
Mass celebrants, deacons, readers, servers, choir members, and instrumentalists, must all wear masks except when they are speaking…
Thank You from “Spirit of Sharing” for St. Patrick’s Parish in Lawrence
Thank you for so generously giving and volunteering to brighten Christmas for the 342 boys and girls chosen as beneficiaries of this year’s Spirit of Sharing, Lawrence, program. Although many of the parents of these children, often first-generation, work two to three jobs, they cannot afford to meet rent, utility, grocery and school-related expenses and also provide Christmas gifts to their sons and daughters. This year’s effort, a hybrid of online and in-person giving of items and funds, was challenging in light of the pandemic, but yielded an abundance of presents and good will. We believe this was the most robust year of giving since Spirit of Sharing’s beginnings at the turn of the millennium…
Seasons of Hope – Winter 2022: A Group for Those Who Are Grieving
If you have experienced the death of a loved one and are searching for meaning and consolation, we invite you to join our upcoming Seasons of Hope group, which begins on January 26. Seasons of Hope is a Christ-centered group where we will be able to share and learn from each other as we walk together in faith on our unique journey of grief.
We will meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:30pm in the St. Paul Parish Hall for six sessions: January 26, February 2, February 9, February 16, February 23, March 2
The group will be facilitated by Kelly Meraw and Anne Mears and we look forward to welcoming you with great love. To register…
