While our Sunday 9:00am Family Mass and its wonderful worship aid with activities for children is on summer vacation, we still have something for the kids!
Each week, the bulletin features a “Summer Kid’s Corner” page with activities and coloring pictures tied to the readings of the day, and baskets of crayons are available in the narthex of both churches.
So be sure to pick up extra copies of the bulletin each week on your way in to Mass for the kids!
The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia ask for your prayer during their General Chapter 2024. From June 21-30, nearly 200 Sister-delegates (including our own Sr. Colleen!), representing the 522 members of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia, will gather in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia for this important work.
A General Chapter is a canonically required gathering of members of a religious institute to discern their direction for the following 5 years and to elect congregational leadership. It is with great joy that the Collaborative celebrates Fr. Gabriel Afumbom Tokoh’s successful completion of his Master degree in Leadership and Administration from Boston College!
With his graduation, Father Gabriel has received a new assignment and will be serving as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted in Waltham starting in July. While we will miss his daily presence with us, we are happy that he won’t be too far away!

On Friday, June 14, we were honored to celebrate Mass with Archbishop Andrew Nkea Fuanya of the Diocese of Bamenda, Cameroon, at St. Paul Church.
Archbishop Fuanya was in the Massachusetts to visit with Fr. Gabriel and other priests from his dioceses who are currently studying and serving here in Boston.
Following his time here, Archbishop Fuanya was off to visit with priests from his diocese who are serving and studying in dioceses around the U.S.
With the fiscal year end of June 30 rapidly approaching, we are asking for your help. Year after year, the Collaborative has been able to support the clothing needs of St. Francis House through the abundant generosity and good will of our parishioners. This year’s clothing drive, held on the weekend of June 1- 2, was no different!

As you may know, the people of Brazil are experiencing the impacts of unprecedented floods which are causing enormous suffering, loss of life and the displacement of more than 600,000 people from their homes. Our Brazilian brothers and sisters here in Boston are deeply concerned about their relatives, friends, and other citizens in Brazil.
In response to the floods in Brazil, Cardinal Seán is asking the parishes of the the Archdiocese to once again step forward with a special collection in May or June to help our brothers and sisters in need in Brazil. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) works with Caritas Brazil, an agency of the Church in Brazil, and is assisting with the needs in Brazil today and will receive funds collected during this time…
Our current schedule for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (Wednesday mornings at St. Paul Church) will continue through Wednesday, June 26.
Adoration will pause for the rest of the summer, returning after Labor Day – stay tuned for information in the late summer.
Beginning Friday, June 14, our parish offices will be closed on Fridays through Labor Day.
