As you know, a Revised Order Regulating Gatherings Throughout the Commonwealth became effective on August 11, reducing the indoor and outdoor gathering limits permitted in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The order specifically exempts gatherings for the purpose of religious services from these new reduced limits, so we can continue to gather in the same numbers at our Outdoor Masses. However, it is important that we continue to follow current Massachusetts and Archdiocesan safety rules and capacity limitations:
- Face masks and social distancing are absolutely necessary for all of our gatherings, including outdoor Masses.
- Mass reservations are required to ensure that we do not exceed our capacity limits for proper social distancing, and to facilitate contact tracing if necessary.
While we have been able to accommodate some “walk-in” reservations in past weeks, as more parishioners return to Mass it is becoming more difficult. Please make a reservation if you plan to join us at Mass this weekend!
