Young Adults

In a world where we are often isolated, is it possible to put community at the center of our lives?  How can we form communities of hope and joy?

Using the Ignatian concept of cura personalis  – care of the whole person – as a starting point, Sr. Colleen Gibson, SSJ, and Br. Matt Wooters, SJ, will join us as we explore more deeply what it means to put hope, joy, and community at the heart of all we do.

This online event is free and open to all ages…

3:30pm on Saturday, February 8 in Powers Hall
(lower level of St. John the Evangelist Church)
Bring a plate of cookies to share and leave with a great assortment!
Followed by the 5:00pm Mass at St. John

Our Young Adult group got together recently to celebrate the New Year with a Soup-er Game Night! Folks arrived with homemade soup, salad, and bread to share, along with a fun assortment of games to play.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

SJSP Young Adults are invited to join in some festive fun this December and January – visit the Young Adult Ministry page to learn more and register for any/all of these events!

The SJSP Young Adult community gathered this past month for a potluck dinner at St. John’s Rectory and for Scripture + Service at St. Paul’s, serving donuts after the 9AM Family Mass! It was great to be together! 

The Young Adult Planning Team is meeting this week to plan next month’s activities- stay tuned & sign up for our mailing list!

Young Adults of the Collaborative (age 21-40) are invited to our November Community Dinner on Friday, November 15 from 6-8PM at the St. John Parish Rectory.

Join us for an evening of meeting new friends, sharing casual conversation, and enjoying delicious food!

This month’s gathering is a potluck, so bring a dish to share and a friend to join the fun.

Young Adults (ages 21-40) are invited to help with Coffee & Donuts on Sunday, November 10 at St. Paul. We will gather in the St. Paul Parish Hall at 9:00am to set up and share faith around the Sunday Readings. We’ll serve Coffee & Donuts right after the 9:00am Family Mass, then we’ll head over to the church to go to the 11:00am Mass together!
