SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 6:30 PM ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA CHURCH

The St. Ignatius Racial Justice Committee will host a showing of the new film Hidden in Plain Sight: The History of Black Catholics in Boston. Produced by the Archdiocese, the documentary explores the history of Black Catholics through insightful interviews with members of Boston’s Black Catholic community. After the half-hour screening, a small panel will reflect on the themes of the documentary and share their insights and lived experiences.

Directions: St. Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill; the event is on the Lower Level (follow signs for Lannon Chapel). Parking is in the lot next to the church; in front of the church on Fr. Herlihy Drive; and on St. Thomas More Road. Parking is usually available on the Commonwealth Avenue side, with a sidewalk leading around the back to the side entrance. Follow the sign for accessible parking, where there is a ramp that leads to an elevator. Across the street from the Boston College T stop at the end of the B Line.
