All women of the Collaborative are invited to the Pre-Lenten program, “A Life Rooted in Prayer.” With Lent around the corner, we are called to think about prayer, fasting and alms giving. “A Life Rooted In Prayer”, led by Dr. Georgia Gojmerac-Leiner, will address prayer as a daily practice, and inspire participants to deepen their prayer during Lent and beyond. Georgia will provide copies of a contemporary Christian prayer book and lead participants in a creative activity.

Dr. Georgia Gojmerac-Leiner is a former chaplain at Emerson Hospital, and currently provides spiritual direction in Natick. She was a frequent presenter of workshops during the annual conferences of her professional organization, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, on prayer practices and creative approaches to the ministry of chaplaincy. She has given mini retreats at area parishes using Lectio and Visio Divina ways of prayer, and is a valued member of our Collaborative.

There will be no pot-luck dinner this month, but coffee/tea and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by clicking the quick link on our website: www.sjspwellesley.org/evening-for-women
