In an effort to provide opportunities for fellowship and to help families bring faith into their homes while we must remain physically distant from our parishes, the St. John-St. Paul Collaborative Religious Education and Youth Ministry team is piloting two Zoom events this weekend. On Sunday morning there will be a St. John Family Mass Faith and Fellowship event at 9:00am (click here to download the worship aid), and on Sunday evening there will be a Youth Ministry 5pm and Fellowship for our high school students. Plans for a future St. Paul Family Mass event are in the works as well.
All high school students are invited to bring a bed sheet (to make a toga) and friends to play a fun game based on ancient Rome. Food, fun, and prizes!
Calling all high school students! Join us this Sunday, October 27 after the Sunday 5pm Confirmation Enrollment Mass for Casino Night in St. Paul Parish Hall. All high school students are welcome to attend and bring any friends or siblings that are interested! There will be games to play, chips to earn, and prizes to win – and food, of course! (We need volunteers to assist in running the games and providing some desserts so please contact us if you can help – firstname.lastname@example.org.)
You are invited to come and play/sing in the music group for the Sunday 5pm Masses. All are invited and encouraged to come along and help to enhance the liturgy with great music. The music group is a fun and easy-going group and all are welcome. You can use participation in this group for service hours for Confirmation or school service requirements. Most importantly, your participation will serve to help the faith journey of your peers and the wider community, as well as your own! For more information, contact Anne Mears.
We are looking for six families to host either two youth (ages 16-22) or a chaperone from the musical group from October 30 – November 5 during which time they will be visiting area schools and local events. The musical group will be performing and speaking at all St. John & St. Paul Masses on the weekend of November 2 and 3. By opening your homes you are able to form meaningful connections with some of the children in our care and you are helping us to continue to transform the lives of children in need. If you would like

Our High School group is off to the Dominican Republic on Thursday, August 15.
