The clothing program at St. Francis House is the only free clothing program for adults experiencing homelessness and poverty in the greater Boston area. Every spring our Collaborative supports this program as a collective force. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by the thousands of people who rely on St. Francis House during their most challenging times. Items may be dropped off between 9:00am – 5:00pm at both the St. John and St. Paul garages on the weekend of June 20-21. If you have any questions, please email us at: service@sjspwellesley.org

Sorting clothes by the following categories greatly assists their staff. Please pack by category in 13 to 20-gallon trash bags, tie up the bags, and label clearly:

  • First separate into “Fresh Threads” and “Studio Shine” categories
  • Then for each category, separate into Men’s and Women’s
  • Then separate into Tops and Bottoms
  • Please pack all footwear separately from clothes
