Archbishop Richard G. Henning introduces the 2026 Catholic Appeal, which provides support for Archdiocesan Ministries, ministries that provide invaluable aid to ALL parishes throughout the Archdiocese, parishes like ours. Our parishes have always fostered a culture of mercy and responded beautifully when asked to help people in need. With this spirit of generosity, we are hoping you will respond to the Catholic Appeal’s call to serve our brothers and sisters who are suffering, lonely, and in need of help.
Every parish is asked to do its part, and when a parish exceeds its Appeal Goal, they receive funds back from the Archdiocese for local programs and ministries. Last year, thanks to your generosity, St. John received $11,300 and St. Paul received $37,700.
Pledge and credit card donations can be made at Mass this weekend by completing one of the Catholic Appeal envelopes found in the pews and dropping it in the regular offertory collection or in one of the baskets in the gathering area. Donations can also be made online at any time by visiting bostoncatholicappeal.org.
