Please consider joining us on the Capuchin Mobile Ministries Winter Walk Team to help raise awareness and vital funds for those experiencing homelessness. All are welcome – individuals, families, adults, kids – even dogs! It’s a great opportunity to join together in service with other members of our SJSP community! While those who are able to fundraise or make a personal donation for Capuchin Mobile Ministries are encouraged to do so, it not required to participate in the walk.
A group from the Collaborative is taking the Green Line in to Boston from the Riverside T Station in Newton – we will plan to take the 8:57am train (those wishing to take the train should bring $5 for roundtrip fare) to arrive at the Boston Common (corner of Charles and Beacon) around 10am at the Capuchin Mobile Ministries table (if you are meeting us there just look for their signs!)
WHERE: Boston Common – look for the tents at the corner of Charles and Beacon streets!
SCHEDULE: 10:00AM – Registration opens; 10:30AM – Program begins; 10:50AM – Walk begins; 11:30AM – Breakfast served; 12:15PM – Goodbyes/Thank Yous
TO REGISTER:
- Go to Capuchin Mobile Ministries Winter Walk page
- Click “Register Here” and select the registration option with your desired donation level.
- If you need a donation waiver select “I have a promo code” (There will be a notice about a credit card requirement and a $100 initial contribution – don’t worry, it will be waived when you enter our CMM promo code.) When prompted, enter the code CMM26 and the required initial contribution will be waived.
- After completing your registration you will have the option to set up your own personal fundraising page to share in advance of the walk.
- Even if you can’t walk, you can still register and raise funds to support CMM!
