Friday, September 26 at 7pm now in St. Paul Hall!
Hosted by Our Young Adult Ministry
To celebrate the first full year of Young Adult Ministry in our Collaborative, the SJSP Young Adults are hosting a movie night for the Collaborative community in thanksgiving for their generous support of this new ministry! Join us for an evening of cinema as we watch the movie Cabrini (PG-13) – we’ll be inside the Parish Hall due to the rain forecast for Thursday-Friday. You can still bring lawn chairs/blankets if you’d like to keep the outdoor vibe, but we’ll have chairs set up as well! The young adults will be popping the popcorn!
Contact Sr. Colleen at cgibson@sjspwellesley.org if you want to help out with this event or have any pressing questions!
RSVP not required but appreciated for planning purposes – thanks! RSVP

FILM SYNOPSIS: From Alejandro Monteverde, award-winning director of “Sound of Freedom”, comes the powerful epic of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society’s most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini builds an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.
