As we approach the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul on September 27, we reflect on the significant impact that our Collaborative has for our friends in need through our SVdP Conference.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide voluntary Catholic organization of lay people. Our mission is to grow in our Catholic faith through fellowship with our members and service to those in need. Local conferences serve those in need within their communities regardless of creed, ethnic or social background, health, gender or political opinions.

Our SVdP Conference provides support to families and individuals in our community who have hit “bumps in the road” and need help to overcome these challenges. Your generosity allows us to provide support in many ways: rental assistance, automotive repair and gas assistance, utilities assistance, food assistance, and more (including furniture, appliances, diapers, etc.)

In addition to financial support, our efforts include outreach to many organizations that can provide support and assistance to our friends as outlined in our Resource Guide.

A summary of our efforts for fiscal year 2025 are shown below. We have reached over 40 families and have positively impacted roughly 100 people.

Fiscal Year 2025 Results

As you can see in the chart below, the need in 2025 has been much higher than past years, and with the current funding status of government programs we anticipate that it will continue to grow. Your generous support is the key to our successful charitable works.

We will be supporting the annual barbecue after the Outdoor Mass at St. Paul on Sunday, September 28 – please stop by and say hello!
