Regardless of whether you’ve been worshiping at home or back in the pews, you must be feeling it!? Thanks to the formidable work of scientists and health care workers (not to mention our own vigilance) we are seeing parish life return in a more recognizable way. Many of our regular lay ministers are back in the pews in person and ready to serve again.

  • Greeters: The ministry of Greeter is integral to welcoming people back to Mass, and to our commitment to maintain safely distanced spaces for those who need them.
  • Collection Takers: We are once again able to gather our regular collection with the help of Collection Takers.
  • Lectors: The ministry of Lector has now expanded to include procession and recession with the celebrant!
  • Eucharistic Ministers: Eucharistic Ministers will be distributing the Eucharist via procession once again beginning May 29.

We are in need of help in every area in order to accommodate our growing congregation.

No long-term commitment required – sign up to help at a single Mass or several as your schedule allows.  If God has placed one of these ministries on your heart and you are not yet trained in a particular area, please reach out to our Director of Pastoral Care: kelly.meraw@sjspwellesley.org

We can sense the movement of the Holy Spirit. Every familiar face that returns is a light in what has been a dark year. We know God is faithful and we need only be attentive to His call.
