I am thrilled to announce that Mrs. Siobhan Mahoney will be the next principal of Saint John School, starting on July 1, 2020. Our Selection Committee (comprised of Bryan Belton, Kerrie Grover, Katie Jarvis, Traci Medeiros, Christian Rubio, Jackie Welham, and me) met with many highly qualified candidates during multiple rounds of interviews, and Mrs. Mahoney was unanimously agreed upon to be the best person to lead SJS.

Mrs. Mahoney began her career at the New England Center for Children, where she served as a case manager for students on IEPs and taught Preschool. From there, she moved to Mount Alvernia High School, where she served as Director of Admissions and most recently as Assistant Head of School. Mrs. Mahoney lives in West Roxbury with her husband and two children. Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Mahoney to SJS!

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Bob Fanning, who has led SJS admirably during a most difficult and unprecedented time. Although he only worked in the building for 14 school days before we switched to remote learning, his dedication to Saint John School has been unwavering. We are very fortunate to have had him on board as Interim Principal.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Jim
