Category: Sunday 5pm Mass
In an effort to provide opportunities for fellowship and to help families bring faith into their homes while we must remain physically distant from our parishes, the St. John-St. Paul Collaborative Religious Education and Youth Ministry team is piloting two Zoom events this weekend. On Sunday morning there will be a St. John Family Mass Faith and Fellowship event at 9:00am (click here to download the worship aid), and on Sunday evening there will be a Youth Ministry 5pm and Fellowship for our high school students. Plans for a future St. Paul Family Mass event are in the works as well.
You are invited to come and play/sing in the music group for the Sunday 5pm Masses. All are invited and encouraged to come along and help to enhance the liturgy with great music. The music group is a fun and easy-going group and all are welcome. You can use participation in this group for service hours for Confirmation or school service requirements. Most importantly, your participation will serve to help the faith journey of your peers and the wider community, as well as your own! For more information, contact Anne Mears.
Our high school students who traveled to the NPH home in the Dominican Republic this summer with Fr. Jim and our Youth Ministry Team would like to invite you to a presentation about their experience. Please join us on Sunday, September 29 at 6:00pm (immediately following the Sunday 5pm Mass) at St. John Powers Hall.
We have one final Sunday 5pm Mass before it goes on “summer hiatus” until September, and we would like to go out with a bang! We really hope you will join us on Sunday – we have a lot to celebrate! We would like to extend a special invitation to our seniors who are finishing up their last weeks of high school. We will recognize them and have a special blessing as they move on to new adventures. We will also be announcing and acknowledging the participants who will be attending the NPH Service and Immersion Trip later this summer. We will
