Join us as we embark on a four-week study of Fr. James Martin, SJ’s essential book, Building A Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity.” 

Meetings will be facilitated by Megan Czerwinski. Megan studied theology at the University of Notre Dame and has been a freelance writer for Notre Dame’s website Grotto Network. She has also facilitated women’s Bible studies and serves as a Religious Education teacher here at our Collaborative.

Fr. Martin’s book can be purchased on Amazon or at local bookstores.

Meetings will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Collaborative Boardroom at the St. John Parish Center (39 Washington St. Wellesley.) The four-week schedule is as follows: 

May 10 – Week One: First Lane of the Bridge (1st half of chapter “A Two Way Bridge”)
May 17 – Week Two: Second Lane of the Bridge (2nd half of chapter “A Two Way Bridge”)
May 24 – Week Three: Scripture Study Part I (1st half of chapter “Biblical Passages for Reflection and Meditation”)
May 31 – Week Four: Scripture Study Part II (2nd half of chapter “Biblical Passages for Reflection and Meditation”)
