Please join us for Saint John School’s Trees & Trimmings Christmas Market, where you will find everything you need for Christmas while supporting Saint John School and its students. Featuring the Highest Quality Fraser Fir and Balsam Christmas trees from Wilson Farm, our legendary custom decorated wreaths, decorated boxwoods, mantle-piece greens, roping, decorations for the home, gifts, homemade goodies at Santa’s Bake Shop, and much more will also be available to make your home magical for Christmas. For the kids, a Kid’s Corner, Kids Craft area and a Toy Raffle with all of the latest toys will be featured inside,
St. Paul Adult and Children’s choir will be presenting their annual Christmas Pops Concert on December 8 at 2:00pm in St. Paul Church. Our major will be Bach Magnificat, a joyful and beautiful rendition of the Blessed Mother’s Canticle upon her visit to her cousin Elizabeth. The work includes Choir, Soloists and Orchestra. The second part will include Father James Laughlin and Father Robert Blaney in special solos with Choir and Orchestra. We will be having our famous sing along and we will be roasting chestnuts and taking a sleigh ride. Come join us for a wonderful start to your Advent and Christmas season! Reception immediately following in the Parish Hall.

This year, our Thanksgiving Mass for the Collaborative will be at St. Paul Church at 9:00am, and will feature music from both the St. John and St. Paul music programs. Please join us! Please Note: This will be the only daily Mass of the day; there will be no 7:00am Mass at St. John on Thanksgiving.

Our SJSP POWIR volunteers have been busy getting Maria, Marcos, Chantal, Emmanuel and Jeremie settled in their new home in Dorchester. They live in a lovely apartment near Pope John Paul II Park, with an easy walk to grocery stores, St. Mark’s Church, Fields Corner T, laundry and much more. Through the generosity of many of our parishioners we’ve been able to begin assisting them with a rental subsidy. Your continued online donations to help the family are of vital importance.
